We met Portia at the airport while waiting at the gate. She was so beautiful that we had to do an impromptu shoot on the spot, using existing light (which turned out be wonderful). I used the trusty Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4 lens to achieve the beautiful bokeh. Thanks, Portia!

I did a quick and dirty studio setup for our Raku ceramics class, using a pair of halogen video lights, and took photos of everyone’s favorite pieces.

We tried to reproduce this famous shot of Audrey Hepburn. I used an old manual-focus Pentax Super-Takumar 50mm f/1.4 lens, which makes a beautiful bokeh.
